Graphic design for the book by Štefan Lazorišák — The Institution, belonging to his kafkaesque period of the early 1980s. The dark and hopeless content (freedom is a maze with no escape) set in a typewriter font expresses the era’s authenticity and its institutionalization. The graphic layout includes six monochromatic full-page illustrations in typographic rendering. Let’s be honest: don’t we all still live in some kind of huge institution?
